Noo Cheng Prawn Noodle @ Adam Road FC

Noo Cheng Adam Road Food Centre
2 Adam Rd Stall 27, Adam Road Food Centre

Sorry for the hiatus. In fact, this post is backdated to 2 weeks ago, this is the makan trip with Leslie and gang to Adam Road Food Centre with an afternoon downpour as our setting.

The best dish of that trip definitely has to go to the prawn noodles, with its chilli powder, prawn stock soup and the tiger prawns itself!

Read more about the prawns, and the outing itself here and here.

Fort Canning Tunnel opens on the 16th

Fort Canning Tunnel will be open to traffic from 5am on Tuesday, 16th January 2007.

With the opening of the tunnel, two bus stops will be relocated. The current bus stop at the entrance of the one-way vehicular tunnel near the demolished National Library will be shifted to stop inside SMU, outside the School of Accountancy along the re-aligned Stamford Road.

The bus stop outside Park Mall will also be relocated across the road, on an isolated island with bus bays located on the right hand side of the road. This will make it easier for passengers to transfer to Dhoby Ghaut MRT and Plaza Singapura, but passengers from Jln Besar should note that Services 64 and 139, which turns left into Clemenceau Avenue thereafter, will not call at this bus stop. They will alight at bus stop near YMCA and use Exit A for access to the MRT station.

Correction: This article previously mentioned the opening date as Monday, 15th Jaunary 2007. This is incorrect.
