pitstop settlers' cafe, again!

we were back at pit stop, clocking another free membership for spending $100 and above in a table. (actually receipts can be accumulated, but i think no one really keep receipts.)

my special order of beef ribs with teriyaki sauce (as opposed to the usual black pepper sauce) is receiving good response. as tasty as ever, maybe it'll be offered as an option in the next update of the menu.

game starters was "saboteurs", followed by a main course of "setelers of catan". no one had the mood for desserts though, as we headed straight go geylang for supper.

sentosa outing

attendees are sharon, guozhang, weijin, slingwoof, shuying and her bf.

being "old people", our activities were luge, carlsberg tower, 4D magix show, picnic and play uno cards. our only exercise (other than walking) was 20 minutes' of ultimate frisbee. so basically we ate more than we can lose. lol.

muddy murphy's outing

the night was spent with noiseology peeps at muddy murphy's bar at orchard towers. food was great, drink was great, music (from resident band unXpected) was also great. so it was great, as u can tell. lol.

at least this time we had more fun on the table and with the lens.

popeye's restaurant

nothing but fried stuff at the popeye's restaurant at the space where the former T1 food court at level 3 was. (not to be confused with the staff canteen/food centre at basement 1 which serves good bean curd and grilled salmon rice.)

the food looks ridiculously like KFC (yes, their set meals come with mashed potatoes and coleslaws, with a bun tat felt like a tennis ball), the only thing different is perhaps the tele box showing popeye episodes at a corner of the restaurant. =(

weijie and me were there on the last day! pretty cool exhibition, but too bad my recommendation would not help. =(

breakfast

bak chor mee and chee cheong fun from alexandra village. we missed the IKEA breakfast exactly; it serves from 8am to 10.30am and we were there to witness the sign boards being changed. -.-"
