sgForums outing to Newton Hawker Centre

The sgForums gang has come together to meet up with littlestream, also known as "godma" to some, who is currently back in Singapore for a fortnight before heading back to Canada.

Dinner started at 7pm just as the late evening showers has died down and ended with a pubbing session at FLO at One Fullerton.

Another foodie outing brought us to the Carlton Hotel, where this cantonese restaurant tucked at the Victoria Street end of the building is having a limited-time only dinner buffet at a special price.

The ambience was alright, and the food was largely satisfying. The dishes served for the buffet by the restaurant, known for its roasted meat, was not very outstanding but there was nothing to complain either.

Our favourites for the night are Deep Fried Diced Beancurd and Deep Fried Octopus Tentacles.
