Sakae Sushi at KL

Just in case you miss having Sakae while in KL....

Yes, the rates are in ringgit equivalent compared to Singapore for most dishes.

Quality-wise, it is almost like Singapore, not totally, but still acceptable.

Sorry for the poor lighting.

There are currently only 2 outlets in Malaysia and they're both situated within Kuala Lumpur.

The Curve, Mutiara Damansara
Best way to get there from KL Sentral or City Centre is by metered taxi at about RM12.

Alternatively, you can take the IKEA Shuttle from Kelana Jaya station, with the first bus departing at 12.30pm and the next at 2pm. (Need to re-confirm).

There are, surprisingly, no public buses that goes to Mutiara Damansara currently, which is home to IKEA and Cineleisure Damansara.

You have been advised not to take taxi from Kelana Jaya to Mutiara Damansara, or vice versa, as it will cost RM17 for the short journey. Blame it on the cartels!

Subang Parade
Take the KTM Kommuter train from KL Sentral in the direction of Port Klang (Platform 5) and alight at Subang Jaya station. The journey takes about 25 minutes.

From there, take a 5-minute walk past Carrefour, then turn right at the main road to go to Subang Parade.
